Grace and Archie McKee are the creators and Webmasters of www.SouthShoreFlorida.com.   As the owners of McKee Consulting Web Design, it was a natural fit.  

Grace and Archie are both retired teachers and have lived in the South Shore area for almost 28 years.   Their children are all three graduates of East Bay High School where Grace was the Department Head for Business Technology Education.

The McKees are actively involved in the SouthShore community.   Grace is President of the Apollo Beach Woman's Clubthe and former Honorary Mayor of Apollo Beach.   She is on the Board of the Ruskin Woman's Club and a charter member of Xi Xi Zeta, the Apollo Beach chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.   Archie and Grace are members of the Ruskin and Riverview Chambers of Commerce and are Webmasters of the Ruskin and Riverview Chamber Web sites.   They are both Ruskin Chamber Ambassadors and Archie is a Greater Riverview Chamber Ambassador.   They are active members of two leads groups:   SouthShore Business Association and Taking Care of Business Leads Group.

Upon leaving East Bay High School, Grace was a Business Technology Education instructor at Erwin Technical School for seven years.   After teaching in China where Archie was the Principal of Qingdao International School and the computer instructor at Shanghai International School, they returned to the SouthShore area.

Archie and Grace have both completed the requirements for graduate certification in Web Design.   They have also completed the coursework for Distance Education.

Observing the growth in the SouthShore area, the McKees felt a need for a central source of information regarding the goings-on in the area.   Being so immersed in the community, they wanted to share with others--especially newcomers.

The McKees want this to be an interactive site.
