Grace McKee never seems to tire of trying new things. The long-time business technology teacher, mother, grandmother and businesswoman seems to sense opportunities even before they arise. Nobody knows that better than her husband, Archie, who is always supportive of her, and her son “Sturdy,” who along with a partner, owns several businesses of his own.

Not long ago, while visiting with Sturdy, Grace found he was preparing to take training as a real estate investor. “We were just there for a visit,” Grace said in a recent interview. “But we had no sooner dropped him off for his first day of training when he called on my cell phone and said they were allowing him to bring a guest for free. I’ll bet we hadn’t gotten three blocks away yet. He’d paid $5,000 for the training, and here I was, getting to go along for the ride!”
