The She are one of the few groups shown today that do not live in the west of China.   They are found along the eastern provinces, Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong. The She have intermingled with the Han for many years and few westerners would be able to tell them apart.   They are primarily involved in agriculture and live in small groups. The She share the Miao language or a derivation of it. Contrary to what many of you have heard, this is one group in China which actually prohibits the eating of dog meat. Next Picture
